Book 15: Where There’s Hope
Northern France is a frozen morass of mud and snow across which rampages a horde of the undead, a hundred million strong. That won’t stop Chester Carson and his comrades. The flotilla that found refuge on Anglesey wasn’t the only group of sea-borne refugees to have survived the outbreak. There are other survivors. Some good, some evil, some just determined to do their duty no matter the cost.

While I’d planned for a more definitive ending between this book and the next, final, part of the series, it just wasn’t possible. Each time a question was answered, a new one would be asked. You’ll see what I mean when you get to the epilogue. The series will continue in Outback Outbreak, In Hannibal’s Footsteps, An Apocalyptic Carol, I Tried to Save the World, & Last Soldier Standing. The titles might change, some of the books might be merged into one another (and there are a couple of characters in Outback Outbreak who I’d like to have books of their own) , but I currently plan for Last Soldier Standing to be the final book in this part of the series, though not the end of these characters’ adventures. I’ve a new series planned, beginning 18 months later, when a 17-year-old Jay, aboard The Golden Pelican, sails towards the foggy shores of — Wait, almost gave it away. Happy reading, Frank.
